Immunology Database and Analysis Portal (ImmPort)
The Immunology Database and Analysis Portal (ImmPort) archives clinical study and trial data generated by NIAID/DAIT-funded investigators. Data types housed in ImmPort include subject assessments i.e., medical history, concomitant medications and adverse events as well as mechanistic assay data such as flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISPOT, etc. — You won’t need an ImmPort account to search for compelling studies, peruse study demographics, interventions and mechanistic assays. But why stop there? What you really want to do is download the study, look at each experiment in detail including individual ELISA results and flow cytometry files. Perhaps you want to take those flow cytometry files for a test drive using FLOCK in the ImmPort flow cytometry module. To download all that interesting data you will need to register for ImmPort access.

Data Types Encouraged/Permitted
Results data for ELISA, ELISPOT, HAI, Neutralizing Antibody Titer, RT-PCR, Flow Cytometry, HLA, KIR, Gene Expression, RNA Sequencing, Genotyping, MBAA, and non-sample based assessments are recommended to be uploaded using ImmPort templates, but may also be uploaded as non-ImmPort template files. Other study types, including Mass Spectrometry and Image Histology, require a non-ImmPort template results file to be uploaded. ImmPort supports uploading common file types such as .pdf, .doc(x), .xls(x), .txt, as well as scientific file types such as .fcs files.
Data Types Explicitly Prohibited
The ImmPort team does not normally accept or share GWAS level SNP human genotyping data nor Next Gen human genome sequencing data. Study files cannot be .zip files.

Data Limit
Up to 512 MB of data can be uploaded directly to the ImmPort system in a single upload. A no-cost tool, Aspera Connect, is utilized for uploads larger than 512 MB. Individual files contained in the package cannot exceed 2 GB in size. No mention of the total size limit. For imaging data, ImmPort can support the associated metadata and derived data files. Discuss the anticipated image formats, volume, and submission approach with the curation and development teams early in the project, particularly for larger imaging collections.

AI LLM Policy
In partnership with the National Artificial Intelligence Research Resource (NAIRR), ImmPort has prepared two AI-ready datasets for the NAIRR Pilot. The NAIRR Pilot aims to connect U.S. researchers and educators to computational, data, and training resources needed to advance AI research and research that employs AI.
